Depression, Poetry

Implosion

When, not if, the shadow comes

It expands although you resist with all your might

Not a velvety dark but a jagged chasm, an absence of all light

A void where hope once resided

An infinite pit, a gaping hole of want and desire

If left unfilled, hope grasps one last time-

Supernova

The destruction of what was once light

Implosion

Nothing matters anymore.
